Mark your calendars for some Library Lover's Month fun!
Valentine's Day (Feb. 14th) in the library, Mrs. G will be hosting a speed dating event...for books! Do you have a favorite book? Think you can convince others to try it? Here's your chance. All participants will receive a little something at the end.
Book Lover's Scavenger Hunt: Pick up your game form on Tuesday. Try to figure out which staff member loves what book. You could ask them for clues. Return your form to Mrs. G on Wednesday to receive a goody. The winner will be announced Thursday.
Coming soon: Feb. 23rd will be the first of many annual (we hope) book swaps. This will be your chance to clean out your book shelves at home and give away a book you love to another student. You may get one from someone or you may not. The joy will be in giving a book away that you love. And the neat thing is it will be a city-wide event.
If you do give a book away, drop by the library to tell Mrs. G about your experience. More details will be given closer to the date.
