Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31 from 11 AM-1:30 PM is laptop pickup for Grade 7. Wednesday, April 1 from 11 AM- 1:30 PM is laptop pickup for Grade 8. Please read these procedures carefully, as they have changed. We have changed the pickup to a DRIVE THROUGH. Enter through the parking lot by the post office, in your car. You will be directed where to go for laptop checkout. Cars will exit through the pool gate. Walkups will enter through staff parking lot by the post office starting at 12:30 PM. Please maintain social distancing. Bring your ID if you have it for ease of barcode scanning. Please bring your OWN PEN to use when signing forms. We will have sanitizer available. Have your technology form filled out if possible. If you don’t have a printer, we will have the forms. If you signed up to get a hotspot, unfortunately those are on back order and we will not have those ready tomorrow. You will be contacted within the next 2 weeks about the hotspot delivery. We will likely be delivering those to homes as they come in. Thursday from 11AM-1 PM we will be available if there are any technical issues. Please let the laptop charge overnight. Do not remove any labels or stickers from the laptops. See you soon! As we navigate these unprecedented events, we will work to support all of you. After spring break we will be distributing laptops to all CMS students grades 6-8 so that the education of our scholars will continue. Here is the schedule: Reminder- PLEASE USE PHYSICAL/SOCIAL DISTANCING (staying 6 feet apart) when picking up laptops. We will distribute outside at the entrance on the post office side parking lot. Parents, please email me right away if you do not have wifi so that the district can provide a hotspot. [email protected] The state will also submit a waiver to the US Department of Education to not administer the CAASPP state standardized test. Sack lunches will continue to be available through from 12-1 PM at Canalino and Aliso Schools today, tomorrow, and after spring break. All children 18 and under are able to receive lunch.
