They will also be on sale Monday through Thursday next week on the 3 block at lunch and with Mrs. G as well. They are $3. Get them early so you don't have to stand in line to buy one. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Lost and Found: Students- All clothes and jackets in the lost and found will be donated today. If you have lost something it must be claimed before Friday or it will be donated. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Soccer Sign-Ups: Indoor soccer in the new gym is back! Form a team and go sign-up today in front of the new gym at lunch or contact Mr. Fowler in room #2. Games start next week. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Poetry Contest: Carpinteria Arts Center is sponsoring a poetry contest with cash prizes, a chance to be published in the Coastal View, on bookmarks or in a special edition book. There is no entry fee. Your poem must be original, unpublished and no more than 100 lines long. Submission deadline is April 12th. Pick up an information flyer from Mrs. G or the office. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Talent Show Permission Slips: If you are performing in the Talent Show please return your permission slip, with parent signature, to Mr. Fowler. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Next skateboard demonstration: Next Wednesday during lunch. See Mrs. O'Shea for a waiver/permission slip which will need to be returned by today. This year there are great incentives like extra credit in your PE class, prizes for most school participation and an award for best dressed with a St. Patrick's Day theme. It's a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality. It is not affiliated with any one group, but brings together governments, women's organisations, corporations and charities. The day is marked around the world with arts performances, talks, rallies, networking events, conferences and marches.
