They will be meeting on Thursday, October 26th from 5:30-6:30 in the Carpinteria Arts Center at 855 Linden Avenue. You can enjoy a pizza dinner while brainstorming ideas for future arts council projects, create henna art and learn about art class scholarships and earn community service hours. Show your spirit and your pledge to be drug and bully free by dressing up each day. This year's theme is "Your Future is Key, So Stay Drug Free". Schools all across the U.S. are participating in activities that will promote this idea. Monday: Pajama Day (wear pajamas) and sign the pledge to be drug free banner on the stage at lunch and receive a coupon for free_____________________(intentionally left blank) ;-] Tuesday: Twin Day/ Matchy Matchy Day (dress alike) Wednesday: Disney Day Thursday: Super Hero Day Friday: Wear Red ____________________________________________________________________ Halloween BooGrams: ASB will be selling at the 3 block next Tuesday through Friday during Red Ribbon Week. Grams are $1 each and has a space for a message to your recipient. Deliveries will be Tuesday, Oct. 31st during SSR/advisory. _____________________________________________________________________ Socktober: Begins on Monday. Please bring in donations of socks & bars of soap for the homeless in Carp. There will be a drop-off box in the library for collection during Red Ribbon week. ______________________________________________________________________ IZZE drinks: Starting on Monday Izze's will be sold on a trial basis. If the campus remains clean then they will continue to be sold. Please dispose of your cans responsibly which means do not through them on the ground! Take pride in your campus and keep it clean.
