**Be Responsible **Be Respectful **Be Safe **Be a Positive Contributor ** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quote of the Week: "Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body". Joseph Addison 1672 - 1719 He was an English essayist, poet, playwright and politician ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Counseling center: Until further notice, the counseling center will be closed at lunch due to student misbehavior and inability to follow directions/expectations. In addition, we have become aware of some students taking game pieces/games out of the room. The counseling room was designed to be a space for students to do homework, relax, play games and feel safe. Recently, it has become the opposite of that. We apologize for the inconvenience, but until we feel students can respect the space and the privilege to have it open, we must protect what has been given so graciously to us. It will remain open for after school homework help (Tuesday/Thursday), and the club meetings that are held there (Wellness and S.A.F.E.). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eighth Grade Superlatives for the Yearbook: Please email or see Mrs. G. if you would like to nominate a boy or girl in each of the categories listed below.
