Band Students:
Intermediate Band: Tuesdays & Thursdays during zero period
Intermediate String Orchestra: Wednesdays and Fridays during zero period

Sixth grade band and string orchestra will start the second week of school. The meeting times are as follows:
Sixth Grade Band: Tuesdays & Thursdays during sixth period.
Sixth Grade String Orchestra: Wednesdays and Fridays during sixth period

After School Program: Be the first to join the after school program! Don't wait until there is a waiting list!!! After school from 3 - 6 pm. There's a snack, homework help and activities every day!

Noon Sports is a lunch time opportunity for you to be active and have fun! Games will be played Tues through Thurs. at lunch.

 We are taking sign ups for the first Noon Sports activity, which is Capture the Flag. Each team will have six players. Talk to your friends, put together a team, come up with a team name, and sign up with Mr. Sabraw in room 20.

7th & 8th graders play against 7th & 8th graders, and 6th graders play vs 6th graders.

Eco Club will meet every Thursday starting September 3. We meet at 3:30 in the garden. All students are welcome. 
We will be cleaning up the garden, planting, cooking in OYO, making eco-friendly crafts, going to the farmer's market, and having fun. See you there! Mrs. Vergeer and Mrs. Leiter

Yearbook: If you would like to be on the yearbook staff please let Mrs. Guarnero know you are interested. All grade levels are invited to participate. First meeting will be held very soon.

Battle of the Books for sixth graders: Mrs. Guarnero will be leading a team this year. Meetings will be held every other week until we get closer to the battle. Please let her know if you are interested.

Summer Reading Challenge: Students who completed the challenge may return their logs to Mrs. Guarnero in the library.  All participants receive a bookmark and any student who has read more than 5,ooo pages will have lunch with Mr. Merritt.

Library talk: The library is open in the morning before school at 7:30, during nutrition, lunch and after school until 4 except Friday for all students.
