You do not need backpacks or purses. You will be walking around campus so wear comfortable shoes. Congratulations to Maria Sanchez for earning the most AR points this year (last year as well). This year she earned 667 points. Wow! Great job everyone! _____________________________________________________________________________________________ ASB Sponsored School Carnival is today after school from 12:45 to 2:15. Sales during Carnival: Wristbands are $7 and individual activity tickets will be $1. There will be food for sale, free music (DJ Hectik), and field games (bean bag tic tac toe, Corn Hole game, 3-legged races, Wheel Barrow Races), Bounce House, Giant Slide & Obstacle Course. Fun for all! _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Independent PE students: Today - stay until 12:45. Tomorrow - You can leave at 11:23 (end of 5th) since you do not have a 6th period. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ 8th Grade Promotion Party: Tomorrow in the MPR from 12:45 to 2:15. Enjoy some pizza and root beer floats, chillin' with your friends, getting your yearbook signed and just socializing with each other before the graduation event tomorrow. See Mrs. G. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ The Carpinteria Children's Project is pleased to host the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition's Summer Cycle Camp June 11-15, Monday- Friday, 9am-12pm. Students aged 10-14 years old will learn basic bike mechanics, fixing a flat tire, bike handling skills, signage, visibility, etiquette and how to choose the best, safest route to school (especially important for those entering 6th grade at CMS this year) They'll go on group rides each day with certified League Cycling Instructors (LCIs). Registration fee is $150 for the week, generous scholarships are available to those who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
