If you are wearing orange you have joined students across the United States who are standing together against bullying. UNITED for kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Halloween Door Decorating Contest 10/21-10/29 Come together as an advisory class and create the most creative, school appropriate Halloween Door. You can create your own decorations, purchase items, bring stuff from home, the sky's the limit. On Tuesday morning, 10/29, ASB students will be coming to take a picture of your door. We will be voting on the most creative door Wednesday, 10/30 during our meeting. The winning advisory class will be announced at lunch and will receive a donut party! Candy Grams: Will be on sale starting tomorrow. Also on Friday and Monday at the 3-Block during lunch. 1 for 50 cents or 3 for $1. Spirit Week/Advisory Competitions Each morning an ASB rep will be visiting your advisory class to count the number of participants. The winning advisory class will receive a prize. Spirit Week Pledge to be against drugs and alcohol on the 3-block all week at lunch Red strips will be given to each advisory teacher to have kids sign to be drug and alcohol free. We will be creating chains and hanging them in the hall. 10/28 Put a Cap on Drugs (Hat Day) Photo booth at lunch on 3-Block- Hand your phone to an ASB student to take pictures with your friends showing you're against drugs and alcohol. 10/29 Sock it to Drugs (Crazy Sock Day) Lunchtime activity on the 3 Block with teachers and students 10/30 Team up Against Drugs (Jersey Day) 10/31 Say Boo to Drugs (Halloween Costume) Costume Contest on the 3-Block at lunch 11/1 I'm Red-y to be Drug Free (Wear Red) All school assembly ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8th Grade Science Fuse Night: 8th grade students whose last names begin with A through L will participate in FUSE Night tomorrow. Engineering and science researchers from UCSB will be leading you through some really fun experiments! Please arrive by 6:15 pm with your family. Students who arrive without a parent will not be allowed to participate.
