You will receive a flyer about it when you receive your report cards. The public library also had a summer reading program which you can sign up for. They will have prizes and fun events! Go by and enroll. It's important for you to keep reading in order to prevent summer learning loss which does happen. See Mrs. G. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ The Carpinteria Children's Project is pleased to host the Santa Barbara Bicycle Coalition's Summer Cycle Camp June 11-15, Monday- Friday, 9am-12pm. Students aged 10-14 years old will learn basic bike mechanics, fixing a flat tire, bike handling skills, signage, visibility, etiquette and how to choose the best, safest route to school (especially important for those entering 6th grade at CMS this year) They'll go on group rides each day with certified League Cycling Instructors (LCIs). Registration fee is $150 for the week, generous scholarships are available to those who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
